Film

Sample of a short film that I edited from start to finish, including music, sound design, and color grading.

YouTube Music Spec Ad

A 20-second cinematic concept spot showcasing YouTube Music’s download feature and offline listening experience. I produced the project from concept through final delivery, handling directing, cinematography, lighting, editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics. The concept is intentionally simple but effective, using a kitchen-table moment disrupted by a lost connection to quickly demonstrate how downloaded music keeps the experience going without internet access.

Art Video

For this art video promo, I used high-quality raw footage captured on professional cameras, curated the clips to tell a compelling story, incorporated motion graphics, and color graded the footage for a cohesive, cinematic look.

USPS Ad

Disclosure: For this video, I sourced around 50 clips of these scenes, crafted a compelling story, developed the script and voiceover using AI, and selected a song that complemented the visuals. The result is a cohesive and impactful USPS spec ad.

LeBron James Career Retrospective

Disclosure: This is a basketball career retrospective that I edited, highlighting my ability to craft compelling sports narratives through dynamic pacing, archival footage, and seamless visual storytelling.

Disclosure: This video was created for one of the 2025 Asian Hall of Fame inductees. We began with an original interview video of her sharing her journey as a figure skater. To enhance the storytelling, we isolated and removed the original background music using advanced audio editing tools, then replaced it with carefully selected licensed music. We also added effects and sourced additional video and images to bring her story to life.

Disclosure: This promotional video highlights a new software solution designed to streamline workflows. Featuring an attention-grabbing hook, concise value-driven messaging, and a clear call-to-action, it demonstrates our ability to create high-converting video content that excites and accelerates user engagement.

Disclosure: This video was created for Studio Ghibli’s 2025 Asian Hall of Fame induction. Inspired by their timeless storytelling, we combined original footage, curated visuals, and licensed music to capture the wonder, imagination, and emotion that define Ghibli films.

DJI Pocket 3 Hike Reel

Disclosure: This video was created as a cinematic camera test using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 during a hiking trip. The project includes color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and on-screen text to enhance the atmosphere and create a polished cinematic sequence from simple outdoor scenery footage.

Connie Chung

Disclosure: This video was created for Asian Hall of Fame inductee Connie Chung. We sourced footage, photos, and images from multiple sources to create an attention-grabbing social media reel that highlights her groundbreaking career and lasting impact on journalism.
